Advent Calendar Treats

We’ve got a lovely, festive post all about Advent treats from our guest blogger Pamela – Life With Munchers.

I just love the build up to Christmas! The twinkly lights, the cosy nights and the building excitement as the ‘sleeps’ tick by. Putting the tree up, seeing the village lights getting switched on…such a magical time!

One of the most exciting things about being a parent at Christmas is all the little traditions you get to put in place for your own kids. Whether it’s elf on the shelf, Christmas eve boxes or creating your very own advent.

This year, alongside the trusty commercial advent calendars, that the kids spy from as early as September. We’re putting together our own little selection and nothing is more exciting than shopping for all those little daily treats to help us get in the mood each morning!

Whether it’s bobbles, tattoos (which can be trimmed down and given across the advent), a rather stunning necklace or even a little treasure hunt note for something larger. The magic that fills every day in December is just so joyful.

Here’s my favourite little advent bits and bobs for my eldest girl:

1. Little Cloud Bracelet – £6

2. Gold Star necklace – £7

3. Oh K! Mini tattoo set – £4

4.  Bobble set – £5

5. Cat tattoos – £2

You don’t even need a dedicated advent calendar. You can simply wrap each days surprise and add a numbered tag and place in a wicker basket…simple!

Have a lovely Christmas!
